Specifying SFIS in the Openbox

I have created a playlist of videos which collectively demonstrate the use of the Openbox to specify a variety of Single Feature Representation Systems.

The basic idea is to describe a particular SFIS using an XML file to specify the sets of roles and values that make up the features.  These specifications can be augmented with a further specification of the realization of the representation: what the representation looks like when drawn on the screen.  The same SFIS might be realized in different ways - the logic is the same, but the cognitive affordances of particular realizations are different.

You can see the videos here.
